Bowl Projections
I may have missed this somewhere, if so proceed with the typical bashing.... but, the latest ESPN bowl projections have us playing Memphis at the historical Legion Field. Wow, what a reward for our boys.

However, it is still a bowl game, and it should be well attended.

Work hard to get to 6 and accept any bowl that offers. I would like one close enough to attend but I would be glad for our guys to go any where.

RE: Bowl Projections
This "playoff" that has been implemented has done nothing but ruin the importance of the regular season and ruin the significance of the bowl games.

Bring back the BCS.

RE: Bowl Projections
Sign me up for a "Battle of the Bones" Bowl game. It would be well attended and the game means more against an old rival. Not to mention Memphis fans would travel well to. Would be a fun game. As far as a reward for our guys. I'm pretty sure they would just like to have the opportunity to play post season football. The extra practice time and tv exposure are the most important aspects of any bowl game anyway.

The "play off" system is nothing more than "BCS II" with additional games played for additional money by teams from the same conferences. One or even two loss P5 teams may play while the rest must be "perfect record" to even get considered.

Players want "Swag". I doubt they look forward to extra practice in the cold.

Major Plus 1

I would want to go to that in a heart beat it would add so much more to a typical bowl game. Not only would it be our first bowl game in 10 years it would be a chance for us to Win Back those bones and get them where they belong!!!

Yeah, but the December 23 night game doesn't help traveling fans. Currently flights to FLL on Southwest for those dates are going for $500. Here's to 7-5 and Dallas or Shreveport!

I'd rather see UAB simply win Conference USA and go to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.
