They'll be hard pressed to win three out of five to qualify.

Vanderbilt is a win. Everyone else is a L.

That will be great for the seniors. Years of missing out on bowl games with a chance to smash Tennessee in a bowl game to end their college playing careers.

And they have Wisc/LSU which is a regular season rematch and usually avoided in post-season. Seems like some intern did this without having a clue.

I will gladly give 2:1 odds that Tennessee will not agree to play Memphis in a bowl game this year.

Wouldn't be the first time the BCS made LSU play a team they already beat in the regular season.

Doesn't the $EC have a bowl clause that allows them to refuse to play "in-state" teams?

I wouldn't hold my breath on Tennessee becoming bowl eligible.

Tennessee is 3-4. They have home games vs. Alabama, Kentucky & Missouri, and have to play at South Carolina & Vanderbilt. I can only see them being favored against Vandy. I wouldn't count on them beating Kentucky either. Kentucky is 5-2, so I expect that their fans have circled the Tennessee game as the one that gets them bowl eligible.

Maybe, but I am thinking that was only in the Liberty Bowl scenario.

How many would we take to Birmingham for a bowl game?

Maybe we will play in B'ham vs Kentucky in the Calipari Bowl

I think that is correct. I would be disappointed if we could not bring at least 17,000 fans to the B-ham Bowl to play ANY SEC school. It's an easy drive - don't even have to stay a night if you don't want to.

They'll beat Vandy, kentucky and Mizzou to get to 6-6 I bet. Would love to see that game (Mem v. UTK).
