Give it a few more years and Tallahassee won't have to worry about representing South Florida because this is what Miami will look like.

Well, if Scotland can have a vote on whether to break away from England, I don't know a reason why Florida voters can't have a referendum on whether to split itself apart. Every year there are many serious ballot initiatives voted on down here.

True, but who would have thought a few years ago, that Scotland would ever hold such a vote? Quebec has also thought about breaking away from Canada. Historically, States in the US have broken apart before, so it's not that crazy an idea.

Basically all of the tourist money would be in South Florida with that map. Disney, universal, sea world, Busch gardens, buccaneers, dolphins, magic, orlando city soccer, marlins, heat, rays, florida panthers, tampa bay storm and south beach would all be there.

North Florida gets the jags and the dump that daytona beach has become

just a FYI, but USF IS a Flagship University. The state of Florida, by decree has three of them UF, FSU and USF.
