Words of wisdom here. Straight to the point, no whining and not asking anyone for help.

I'm sure the team is focused on this week and always the next game.

But the fact is, if they take care of business on the field, then we are going to need some help if we have any shot at an outright title.

So I don't mind asking for help. Come on ULM and App State - beat up dem Cajuns

We just have hopes, like you do, of winning our next game against Georgia State right now.

Honestly I'm more worried about Troy and nmsu because of the circumstances surrounding those games.

Just going to decide on a lake to do a little late season fishing and hope we win
the rest of our games. Hard to know for sure how things will turn out down the
road.

That is a breathtaking photograph. I can't get over the clarity of that lake.

Question though about this Saturday... How in Erk's name did GaSt almost beat UL?

Was UL missing some people that they now have back?
Was GaSt playing some impact people that they no longer have?

We better strap it on in the Dome.

And I'm still holding out hope that App State puts one on UL to.
Football is all about matchups. ASU had severe concerns at DT going into the season and ULL was the first team that we faced that was committed to pounding the running game. With Robinson out, it was there best shot and I said so before the game. ASU had no scholarship DTs for spring practice and only one returnee from the 2 deep at DT in the fall. ULL also avoided the turnovers completely which makes it hard to beat someone.

The SBC is far from in the bag for anyone. Any of us can still lose to any other the rest of the way. Reading too much into one game or comparing scores is dangerous. WKU looked like they would run away with the league early in 2012 and ULL looked that way in 2013 but that is why you have to show up every week.

With Robinson, the game plan wouldn't have been much different. When you are running the ball like we were, you don't need to throw it...no reason to even try.

I agree. You had a much better matchup running against our depleted interior DL (thanks Hugh and Gus) than throwing against our back 7 and our DEs. We had the right counter to take the game to the final horn but we made the big mistakes that you guys avoided. Can't do that against someone that is on your level talent wise.

cajun fans said they same thing last year and lost. If we can get our offense going we could win the rest of our conference games but the as of right now our offense is just awful.03-banghead

The reason I say that is because HUD is a motivator, the revenge factor for our game with ulm and USA does not have me worried about the team being up for those games. Traveling to Los cruces after a rough 3 game stretch could be a trap game. Playing at Troy for Larry blakeny last game and home game...tell me which one of you want that one?

I can agree with what you are saying against ULM and USA you know you have to bring your A game or you lose but if we make it through the next game against USA you would have played the toughest conference stretch and I could see a let down at NMSU and the Troy analogy is spot on not looking forward to that game they always play us tough and now they have extra motivation.
