UNCW Digital Network
has anyone checked out the new digital network?

http://portal.stretchinternet.com/uncw/

I read that all home games and road conference games not on national tv will be broadcast through this link for free. Good way to keep up with the games.

Hopefully, our version of "stretch internet" TV will work better than the CAA's did, live, yesterday. On another thread, A JMU fan said that they had it last year and their live games were unwatchable.

I'm wondering if it's a capacity issue?

It has nothing to do with capacity, according to our Sports Media department.

It has everything to do with Stretch, and their complete lack of care in correcting the issues.

Usually, the broadcast will never start, or if it does start, it will get choppy and then stop all together. We've given up hope after 8 weeks of the football season and no improvement.

Tom Yeager at his best.

See this thread for our well documented issues.

"Tom Yeager at his best."

There's a real stunner.

Maybe they can get Tom to work to work on the Obamacare website. Oh, wait. They already did....
