i'm just afraid this is one of those games where we're all screaming at the TV (well, computer) for the team to WAKE UP!!!!! i don't know why. i've just seen it before. we come out against an inferior team after a big win and just look lethargic or sloppy in some way. turnovers? stupid personal fouls or false starts? D line getting pushed around and UNCC gains 4-6 yards on every first down, keeping them ahead of the chains?

i really, really, really hope i'm wrong. still picking a JMU win, but it might be ugly.

Really hard to tell how good Charlotte is based on their competition so far. Blowing out teams like Campbell and Johnson C Smith (yeah, I didn't think that was a school, either)aren't really that impressive to me.. sorry. Losing to Elon and allowing 63 points on a 2-5 Citadel team looks really bad as well.
I just don't see this team putting up more points than either Maryland or Villanova did on us. We have actually been improving on D, but we still need to get a lot better. Can't say the same for their D.
I do think Charlotte will score on us.. and quite a bit, but no way they blow the roof off. Maybe in week 1, but not now.

Frankly, most of us don't care enough to bring our A-game with this guy, it just isn't worth the effort.
