Question for USM fans
If Marshall beats you guys this year, the record will be 5-5. Is that the best conference record against you, with at least 5 years played? I know we benefited from at least 2 of your down years and could probably count this one too, unless you get bowl eligible. The point is actually showing how strong you've been over your time in CUSA. I think you guys have a winning record over all the other teams ever in CUSA, but not sure about Louisville, TCU, Cincy, and UAB.

I looked it up and Cincy is 8-7 vs USM. That'd be the best one as far as I could tell.

Well you do count, but they aren't the same team as they historically were so I was working outside the new guys till they get a chance to catch back up. These games now would count if we revisit this topic in 3 or 4 years. Since most new teams have only played them once, twice at most it doesn't really feel like a series yet. But LaTech would certainly count.

RE: Question for USM fans
MTSU is 2-0 against them.

Louisville only lost one against the while in CUSA I think. TCU is 3-2. Cincy is 3-3. Rice is 4-1

Edit: wait while in CUSA or in all?

RE: Question for USM fans
Of all the teams we've played at least 3 times, I think only Cincy has a winning record. The Louisville rivalry goes way back but I think after 96 they may have had a winning record. This is all off the top of my head as I am at work and don't feel like looking it up.

And it came at a time when Rice was the best they've been in decades and Southern Miss was the worst they've been ever.

RE: Question for USM fans
40-22-1 vs. Memphis, 23-7 vs. Tulane, 6-2 vs. UCF, 9-5 vs. Houston, 3-1 vs. South Florida, 3-1 vs. SMU, 3-4-1 vs. Tulsa.
Easy to see why we were left out. We didn't deserve to be invited. 04-cheers

They beat you twice under Fedora, but I agree.

Fedora was 1-1. The loss was the last before we had a winning streak in his first year. The first loss was Bowers final year.

Interesting that both years that we lost to ucf we fired coaches.

Where did you get these silly numbers from? The Rice one is correct. Louisville only lost 1???? They didn't beat us the first FIVE years of C-USA. We have a winning record against UofL both in (5-3) and overall (18-11-1). Cinci, Tulsa, TCU and Rice all have slight series leads on us.

You're right, I was just going off the top of my head. For some reason I was thinking CUSA started in 98.
