The Harrisonburg Chapter of the JMU Alumni Association invites you to our annual golf tourney on Friday afternoon of Homecoming weekend. This year marks the 16th annual golf tournament, and will be held at Spotswood Country Club. Afternoon flight only will tee off at 1:30, and be followed by an awards banquet and raffle in the clubhouse.

I liked the event when it was at Lakeview. They already play the Duke Club tournament at Spotswood so I wonder what was the reason for the change. Anyone know?

We had a fair amount of feedback indicating a venue change was due. When we talked to a couple courses, Spotswood gave us a great opportunity. The Alumni Association pulled a lot of work into that event contract and I tip my hat to them! I do enjoy me some Lakeview though.
