Not that it matters but I was bored and decided to look on the Hoya board. Nothing that you've posted is true. However, that was known beforehand.

Yeah, I'd take the over on the 88% theory.
Another thing about Skal is that he's a really good, high quality kid. All Tiger fans will see that side of him very soon.

Word Superfly. Big John jiving with The Dude and The Dude is grooving to BJ's vibes.

He wasn't playing competitive ball at ECS either. He was taking layups while 3 5'10" white kids pulled on his jersey

I remember seeing a still photo of him against A.Nichols in high school, and the other 8 kids on the floor were just as you describe.

No, not really he has played AAU ball during the Spring/Summer. He faces better competition on the AAU circuit. Certainly versus the schedule that Lauzanne plays.

High school basketball will be almost irrelevant in 20 years. As a general rule, the competition these kids face on the AAU circuit is much better than high school ball. I would hate to be a high school coach and have to deal with parents and all the politics that goes with it.

Hope there's someplace in the city where Skal can play competitive basketball a few times a week. One that doesn't involve a NCAA violation.

True, Big John was in the lead for The Dude, until Big John starting playing The Eagles in the car. The Dude hates The Eagles.

I agree, it's hard to evaluate a player vs. inferior high school talent. HOWEVER, we did get a glimpse of a young Skal vs. Austin Nichols a couple of years ago. I was in the building and came away more impressed with Skal...and it wasn't because Austin had a bad game.

Thanks. It is too bad we will lose Skal to G-town, but Big John is tough to beat.

Skal Labissiere is going to play his senior year, after all. For a place called Reach Your Dream Prep. http://goo.gl/4yylHA

I’ve never heard of a prep school created on Oct. 27 so that a top-5 prospect can play high school basketball. This is insane.

@DanWolken I’ll say this for the guardian Gerald Hamilton: He genuinely does not care how awful he looks to the rest of the world.
