I'll take those points. That's a lot of points.

RE: Arkansas game week thread
The play of Hunter Mullins at Miss State was a major contributor to our team's ability to keep Miss State offense hemmed up. He flipped the field several times. Ironically, it was the blocked punt (not Hunter's fault) that actually swung the momentum on the first drive of the 2nd half.
Solid special teams play should help us this weekend. Georgia's quick but relatively small D-line, handled Ark's o-line, so hopefully we take something away from that as well.

Here's to a good, injury-free game.

All I want is injury free. I couldn't care less if we lose by 50. The timing of this game sucks when we finally have a competitive team within our conference.

You are so right, but the timing is often a result of when the "money bag" team wants you. P5 teams like to schedule us (and our fellow teams) as warm up games the week before a big conference game. Note where Western Carolina and Samford are playing on Nov 22.

We are in desperate need of a win. We have had three tough losses in a row(Two of them given away), and to get to 6-6, this one probably needs to go our way. I don't get the point spread. You guys seem to have a solid offense, and the four score spread appears to be way too high.

I certainly know that desperation...
It probably will go your way. Heck, some of us here apparently think the alternative impossible.
I caught your game against bammer and was probably as disappointed in the result as you are.
Good game, no injuries, see ya on the gridiron! Go Blazers!

I do. I think we will need to be plus three in turnovers, minimum, to even have a shot in this game. How do you think we are going to stop their rushing attack? We could put eleven in the box, and they'd probably still manage to get a couple of yards on us. I just can't see any way we can deal with either of their lines.

Like the little dutch boy in the story we start with our index finger in the first leak and go from there until we run out of fingers and toes or the sea covers our country.
I agree we also need some turnovers as well as especially solid special teams play (something that has been disappointing this year) to go with the quality kicking we rely on.
What we have is heart and arms and legs. The team that tips the scale only 'always wins' at the breakfast table. If you don't show up to play the game of football then a lithe panther can get ya just as good as any ole hog.
