Great Win But
Pleased to win this one but. The offense is just bad. I am not down on team with this win. This is a win and we needed it. But I have thought this entire year that the defense is good enough to win games with if we just had some type of a passing game. We just have nothing passing. Inaccurate throws, dropped passes,no vertical passing plays. Baby beast is the best player but he is really the only offensive weapon and you can’t just have a good running back with a subpar O line and no passing threat. I really believe, given the bad to mediocre teams we have played so far, that with even an average passing game this team, even with its young offensive line, even after losing all of those seniors, we could be 6 and 1. And that does not mean I think we would be a strong 6 and 1 but 6 and 1 nevertheless.
The defense is good enough. Just lacking a thumper of a linebacker. I thought the coaches in the second half won this game with great play calling and Wilkins is my player of the game with the play where he broke all those tackles and ran it in for a touchdown.

RE: Great Win But
You're right -- Connor cannot throw downfield, and he holds the ball too long when he rolls out. Plus, he had drops from Wilkens and Dessenburg, so that didn't help. But let's hope this win sparks a nice run at the end of the year -- important for setting a tone for 2015. AND, it was nice to pay the Hens back for stealing one from us last year.

RE: Great Win But
THERE IS NO BUT! We just beat Delaware on the road who was 2-0 in the CAA and beat JMU on the road. I don't care if the defense scored all the points. We have six healthy offensive linemen. Six. Amos Campbell was out today. Jake Schunke was out. You have to play Frazier. There is no other option. We know he's limited but they gutted this one out. A lot to be proud of.
