Would Temple win a MAC FB title, had they stayed?
I was watching some of the Temple/ Houston game last night and Houston beat them comfortably. That was just the 2nd loss for Temple this season (4-2 overall). It just made me question how they would have fared, had they stayed in the MAC.
My question to you, would they have won a MAC title had they stayed? Maybe run the table for a couple of years? Stop NIU in their dominant years?

No reason to think they would have. Temple did NOTHING while it was in the MAC.
Only thing that stood out for me was that they had some really arrogant fans.

That is what I could never understand. For a school that was one vote away from their Football disbanding and has been a Nuclear wasteland forever. They are very arrogant.

They never even won a division title or beat a MAC squad with a winning record.

They came close to the MACC game before. They've improved this year... over time, would they win the MAC? Yeah. But that's just a function of Time Length in order to do so. Being in the "easier East", they'd have a much better shot at going to the MACC game than say, Ball State in a random year.

Yeah, but in 2009, they went 7-1 in the MAC, 9-3 overall. The two years after that, they went 5-3 in the MAC.
What you pointed out is that one can be a contender in the MAC East without beating a team with an overall winning record. :)
