RE: Week 8 College Football
Wonder why UMass is playing at Foxboro. I thought their on campus stadium was done?
Edit: Quick search shows they'll have to play 4 games a year there 'til 2016. That sucks.

We knew PJ could get the talent but now it appears he can get them rowing in at least a somewhat coordinated fashion.

Yep. PJ's kickin' it. WMU still has a lot to improve, but I think this is just foreshadowing what to expect Next Year. MSU is coming into Kalamazoo to kick off the year, and that place is going to be ROCKING with nearly 40k of fans. When we played @MSU in PJ's first year last year, we lost by 13. Could PJ Pull an upset? No. But could possibly make a game out of it.
I think WMU will be 6-6 or 7-5 by years end (2or3 wins out of the remaining 5). We are a good test to NIU & Toledo to see who's going to win the MAC West. Toledo was SO LUCKY to beat us, thanks to our horrible FG kicker in bad conditions (2 missed under-30 yd FGs + missed XP).
I think if PJ continues this, and we get 8 wins next year, and 9 the next -- he'll be a real candidate out there for BCS conferences. However, with his separation/divorce rumored to be just happening -- I don't think he'd want to move too far from the Michigan / Illinois area.

Yep, he just needs a bit of success. He could sell reading glasses to the blind. Then he can act a fool in front of a bigger crowd!
