---Is Temple Legit? Is This where they estabilish themselves as a power in the league

---Is QB Greg Ward for Houston the real deal or Just a one hit wonder

---Do you enjoy the exciting type of football where either teams qbs could break out a 70yd run at any moment and elusive enough to make numerous defenders miss while at the same time potentially having a 300yd passing game?

---Is temples Defense as good as the stats, can Houston overcome the loss of defensive captian Derek Matthews?..

I'm tired as hell and have to set up tailgate in a couple of hours. But at least that'll take my mind off of how nervous I am for tonight.

And TEMPLE just may expose Houston as well... This is an exciting game. IMO "our time" is next year, but a big W tonight would say a lot about this Owls team.

Good luck to Houston and hope for an injury free game.

GO OWLS!

Houston is favored by 7 and half. I love my coogs, but no way in h*** should we be favored by that much.

I thought the same thing about the BYU game. No way in hell should they of only been favored by 14, and somehow we covered.

We're a weird program. Outside of the Keenum years (where he printed money for UH backers), you're going to have a BAD time if you're going to try to handicap the Houston Cougars one way or the other.

I never know what to expect out the UH offense anymore, except to expect to be saying a lot of "HUH?" or "Are you kidding me?". Man, it's changed so much since this alum saw high powered offenses in the Briles and Sumlin years.

I see it the other way, maybe it's just me watching Temple every week and seeing the inconsistencies and know the team is still a year away, but i though 7.5 was on the low side, i though it would be higher.

I had to do a double take when I first saw this line on the Scorecenter app. Can't believe they are favored against Temple, let alone by that much. This is a pick'em game IMO.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the final like 6-3. Def won't be watching this game.

Useless so-called fan. It's already pathetic that you won't be at the game (assuming that you live in Texas).

Just take Houston out of your profile please.

LOL, I consider myself one of our more pessimistic fans, and even I am excited about tonight. With Greg Ward out there, like someone else already said, any play can go the distance.

I actually see this as being a shootout with two mobile QBs

Attack my fanhood all you want. I purchased season tickets despite living on the East Coast. I flew to the first game, I've given my other tickets away for free so people go. Shoot me for not wanting to watch this anemic offense play.

Oh brother! lol I definitely am not a fan of Travis Bush, nor, now, Tony Levine. But I not only will watch the game, I will be there. It's called supporting your team.

RE: ***Official Houston vs Temple Game Thread***
Temple hasn't clicked on offense as much this season. The offensive line lost a lot of people.

Still, they are adding a valuable TE and WR into the mix; they got a key safety back healthy; they might have found their gamebreaker running back.

Temple can certainly win the game. But they should be the underdog on the road. It probably comes down to Temple's ability to control Houston's QB (or QBs). And, of course, avoiding turnovers.

I tend to think the Coogs will take this... but Ill only say by 3. It will close the entire game.
