Yeah, I think the play was blown dead when the helmet came off. If not, the ball would have been spotted right at the goal line. Great effort by Ward.

Yeah, apparently the announcers aren't aware because they keep talking about how he still could have made it into the endzone without the other tacklers, but the ball is dead the second the ball carrier's helmet comes off.
