What the guy at DirecTV told me was that the channel 608 (and its add ons) are not full time channels and only come on at game time. For the extra charge, I got 608 added for 30 days. I hope the game outcome is worth it.

As soon as the game was over, the channel shut down.

About what I figured.

I went, there was about 12 UAB fans. Good time, minus the outcome of the game. Owner said they're going to show the game next week too.

Of course they will. It's on the $£€ network and both ua and Auburn don't play till 6:30. But its cool they still offer to show it.

you have to make money and if I have a choice of putting a game on that will attract 12 customers or one that will attract 200 guess which one I go with. when we start showing up in numbers that rival bamers and barners we will get the screens.

Restaurants are able to make money without even having televisions. They sell food AND drinks!

If they are actually marketing something as a viewing party in the music venue, that's different. But I'm more than okay with 156" of football.

Turnout for Arkansas could be better. Marquee opponent, relatively speaking, and more fans will be in town because it's a ridiculous road trip. Too long and frustrating drive even for me.
