In before lurking WKU fans: there's no such thing as a mid major.

I was about to say the same thing. Our Athletic Department refuses to acknowledge the term.

I agree with you - UL and Ga State basketball will be playing at a level this upcoming year that is well above what some would consider midmajor.

I don't think that there will be a completely dominant SBC team this year. I think there will be enough improvement out of the rest of the league to keep you two from just running away.

Not quite sure it's not a 2 Team race - maybe stAte and UTSA may have something to contribute. Beyond that there isn't much else.

We're not going to be very good most likely, but we're always going to be difficult at home regardless.

I'd keep a close eye on UALR. They are overdue a really good season.

We just hope we can win enough to make the conference tournament.

Your negativity toward Brady is apparent. Brady says his team should be as good or better than every Sun Belt team except Georgia State and ULL this year. For the record - do you disagree?

Was hoping to see GS finally have all it's players this year, but looks like we lost a key starter (probably our best player). Add to the fact that our arena may not be usable for the start of the season and it looks to be another down year for us. We'll catch our breath and wait for baseball, and let the others get a chance to get a post in. 04-cheers

I thought we established last year that 1 team was going to dominate the entire conference and walk into the tourney?

Y'all keep sleeping on GS in roundball. Our drug-dealing, gun-toting, superstar looks like he has been cleared to play this year somehow, and we have some nice pieces around him too.

Waaaat!? hadn't heard this yet. IF he comes back and keeps his head on straight then we could be a decent team this season. I know before all the arrests happened, people were real excited about the 3 seniors finally getting to play together. hmmmm, might have to watch a few games this year. 04-cheers

Wow, you Southerners don't stop.

(With that said, I am in no way considering ANYTHING a done deal in SBC hoops this year, including our grabbing a top-two seed.)
