NFL.com: Ranking every FBS QB situation at midseason: No 1-128
wow...

43. Northern Illinois (preseason: 117th)

Main starter: Drew Hare
Buzz: Do-everything star Jordan Lynch graduated, but Hare has played well, with 10 TD passes and one interception. He also has done a solid job as a runner, though he isn't anywhere close to being as productive as Lynch in that facet.

According to this, we have the 2nd best QB situation in the MAC behind UMASS...lol

Boy oh boy. I will say we have been spoiled the last 5 or 6 years with the QB's that have been in the line-up. You don't grow p squad and hiesmann finalists on trees. The next 6 games will be fun to see what happens.

I'm sure they haven't seen a single snap of NIU football this year. In rare circumstances the numbers lie. This is one of them.

Yea that ranking number clearly is based upon Harnish & Lynch's QB performances the last few years. Other than a few drives here and there... not much about our QB's this year (Hare-Maddie) has made me think #48 is anywhere close to where we should be ranked thus far.07-coffee3

Sorry.... downgraded us a few slots there, #43 currently. No way we could be as bad as #48 on this list! 04-jawdrop

the interesting part is that the same guy had us ranked #117 preseason for QB as you can see in the original post, so he thinks we've had huge improvement thus far this year
