Gotta be the hit of the year.

Agreed. Matt Dobson. He's turned into another JJ Wilcox.

Kinda OT: Dobson is 7 and safety. Peterson for State is an ILB and is 6. Am I the only one annoyed when teams allow players to deviate from the traditional number schemes? A perfectly good answer that can be accepted is, "you're becoming a grumpy old man."

haha.

It does take me a second to figure out what is happening when I see a safety number lining up at LB or up at the line of scrimmage. I'll have to agree with you on this one, and I'm only 28. lol 04-cheers

QB at Michigan wears 98

I think that is John? Law, he was a beast in their game against us, making big hits and all over the damn field. I think he had 14 or more tackles.

John law is involved in almost every effective defensive play, anytime you watch an app game if we manage to stop you, you will hear his name I hope some of the redshirts are as good as he is.

Here's what Mark Hudspeth had to say about Qushaun Lee...

“This guy, when you watch film, … you walk out of there and your head’s spinning a little bit because you wonder, ‘Can I get a first down?’” Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth said. “This guy is sideline-to-sideline knocking people senseless.”

Out #26 Ross, Joel DB 5-10 185 Sr. Damascus, Md. (Damascus) received
a targeting foul and resulted in Mountaineer defensive back Joel Ross’s ejection from the game
almost at the beginning which I thought was just a good hit Saturday.

Yeah I saw your K run right down and make a good form tackle on one of the early kickoffs, but I wouldn't say it was a hard hit

Here's the thing about the ULL kicker, he is going to start getting drilled now. Usually nobody takes the kicker because they hang back, he keeps pulling this he's going to find somebody calling his number.

He was recruited as a LB and blew his knee out twice. So they moved him to kicker, he has led our special teams in tackles for the past two years and yet nobody has blocked him yet.

Yea, nothing new, I've seen him initiate more contact against opponents than they do to him. He is a tough dude, I don't think he scared.

Pretty soon he'll have a body assigned to him to hit him every kick, then he'll have to decide if he has more value as a kicker or special teams cover guy. And why did stAte rush a right footed kicker who likes the rugby style kick from the defensive right side? Make him kick from straight on or under pressure.

Even better if the return team has to assign a man to go find and block the trailing kicker - that would leave someone open already running down on coverage ....... so ......... I don't think any special teams coach woud be dumb enough to do that. Who knows, we have some unusual coaches here in the Fun Belt!
