It makes me feel like the coaching was restn on its laurels, thinking that no matter who they brought in, they could coach them into winners. It's unreal!!!

Yup, though I'd add: I don't want to commit to someplace that has coaching unknowns AND can't seem to get it done on the field.

Afterall, look at the coaching unknowns stAte has faced but they continue signing top recruits and the program just keeps chugging along.

Regardless of where this kid ends up, I think it's a pretty big deal regarding where USA is as a program for this one instance to happen. A big criticism has been that we aren't taking recruits from neighboring programs yet, and this is a direct indictment on that sentiment.

Sucks to see how a great coach can deplete a team when his time has passed.
