What happened to the hurry up?
We used to run the fast paced, no huddle, 100 play offense. What happened? We haven't had 70 last few games. We need to get back to it. What changed.

I think that is part of the problem. It worked for Harnish because it could. Lynch inherited it because he had the option to run if other guys weren't set or missed their routes.

Now it doesn't work. It does match Hare's abilities. We need to remember Lynch was an exception as a first year mid major qb. Next year we might be able to return to it, but without a true leader on the field it's hard to execute this kind of offense.

They're still going fast. They're just punting fast now.

Are you saying that the offense should adjust to the QB's abilities? I thought the QB had to run the Huskie offense as it was designed to be run.

Or was it the other way around? It's hard keeping up with the complaint of the week. How are the hotdogs?

RE: What happened to the hurry up?
Lynch is a freak. He made the offense look so good because even though he ran the ball a lot and the defense knew that, they still could not stop him consistently. Who ever the QB is this year does not have that ability but they need to read the defense better and make good decisions (this means designed QB running plays). Hare does very little of that.

Last year, Lynch averages 20.9 carries a game. This year, the QBs are averaging 13.7

Majority of his yards are while scrambling not designed run plays. He is getting them because the other team does not respect his running. If we were scoring 45 points a game then I would agree but we are not.

We are averaging 10 points a game less including 55 against Pres
