If the cards fall right, it'll be an interesting question to see if the committee puts a 2-loss SEC West team in the playoff over a 1-loss Ohio State. Either way there will be a riot somewhere looking to tar and feather the playoff committee.

There have been several members of the committee over the last few months that have been quoted saying they will definitely give weight to whether a team is a conference champion or not.

If you take those quotes at face value, there would be no way a two loss non-champion SEC team would get in over a 1 loss OSU.

The SEC game that becomes crucial for OSU is Miss St v Alabama. If Miss St beats Alabama, the second place SEC team has to have two losses. If Alabama beats Miss St (and then Auburn), Miss St could finish second in the SEC West at 11-1.

More power to ya man. I am not an Ohio State fan either. They are like the big evil brother. I simply saw the same mathematical possibilities and I was willing to defend that against folks that tried to use stereotypes and false truths as their dogma against Ohio State getting in.

You were right.
