Regardless, this entire thing was a long time coming given the antagonistic nature of some of the more central players. Punishment can only be dished out based on those who broke the rules and that is understandable. The difference is that I'm sure those who were punished will come back and be decent and honest members of the forum while the other person involved will always be petty.

Don't know how there is any other view here other than that what gts did was low, chitty and disturbing. No one can claim to be libertarian and be such a fcking invasion of privacy putz. Cheerlead for Snowden and the he/she then stomp on peoples privacy himself.

Jeez, you just can't go on and on and on about spying and invading privacy and turn around and do it yourself.

I've answered that (bogus) gripe several times already in this thread. And with that, this thread has run its course.

Granted, Tom was initially on the receiving end and used it for retaliation ... it seems just as low to do it after you've griped about it and reported several posts about it.


I now look forward to claims from the liberal posters that I am big brother come to get them and out to persecute their liberal beliefs. And if that happens and the extremes of both sides are not happy -- that probably means it's being done fairly -- just like actual progress through compromise in Washington (the once in a generation it does happen).
