Contracting the AAC
In the day in age where conference are getting bigger, if you could take a page out of the Big 12 and the old Pac 10 conferences and have 10 teams and a true round-robin, what 10 teams do you keep in the AAC and why?

Personally I don't know how feasible an 8 team conference would be these days but I would probably even be in favor of that and just have nice out of conference slate.

USF UCF Memphis, UC, Uconn, Temple, UH, ECU

I say we throw out everybody but Memphis and UC, and add Louisville, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miss. State, Arkansas, Missouri and LSU.

Considering how USF has under performed despite our BCS golden ticket...it may be wise for our fans to opt-out of any "kicking teams out of the conference" types of discussion, nevermind starting a thread. Just saying...

I am as diehard a USF fan as you can be....but ....really?

Having been in an eight team conference, having to find 5 OOC games a year sucks. The minimum conference size you ould want is nine.

If it ever came to that (contraction I mean), I think Navy will be independent again.
As for the MW contracting to 10, I will let Hawaii and Air Force go. The MW will have a nice round robin in Football and Basketball. (Hawaii becasue they are so far away from the Mainland and Air Force because they are not competitive in all other sports that the MW sponsors.)

Neither UMass or Buffalo is awful. They just need time to build up there fanbases.
