There are plenty of good players not named Winston who will all be playing Saturday. FSU has had a tough start to the season to begin with, and this is the game that FSU loves to play....night game, top 10 match up

Notre Dame has a good QB, but I don't think they have the athletes to keep pace with FSU

Having seen both teams play...if Notre Dame limits the turnovers they will keep it within 7. BL: Neither team is Top 5 material.

I think FSU is Top 5 (but keep getting compared to last years team scores) and the Domers have played a Top 5 schedule so far to warrant it.

I agree. If this were last years FSU, ND would have no chance. But this years FSU is not as unbeatable. Last, FSU was probably one of the 10 best teams ever, imo.

Don't know if nd gets mauled or not. But I do believe it's going to be one raucous environment, fueled by the top 5 matchup and the FSU/nd history of the last ~20 years but also the "FSU vs the world" drama that's going on. I'm not saying the Clemson game earlier this year was the loudest environment in the world, but it was danm loud for having a suspended Heisman winner. I'd expect it even louder this Saturday, unless nd managed to buy up a ton of tickets. Clemson didn't really travel that well. Not as well as I expected at least. But I guess they did return part of their allotment.

This game will likely be a blast.

I should just clarify that I expect FSU to win, but the game will be close. ND is pretty good too.

Why? After the playoff bowls are filled...it is all about TV ratings and Tix sales.

you Cuse fans that are judging FSU based on their performance in the Carrier Dome are missing the mark with FSU.....the Noles played a very uninspired game last Saturday....

Their season hasn't been as easily paved as last year was....They've had much harder circumstances, but they've risen to the occasion to beat Clemson, NC State, and Oklahoma State...

The talent level is there, and I think it will show this Saturday night, when FSU has something meaningful to play for

no, they definitely lost key players from last year, among them Joyner and Jurnigen...

The last few weeks though, you're starting to see playmakers emerge....Goldson and Featherston (I may be butchering names) are good on the D-Line....

Hunter is a stud in the secondary....they need the LBs to step up

If they beat Notre Dame, then they get a bye afterwards, where they can settle down and regroup a bit before they tackle the last 5 games

My view has very little to do with what happened at the Dome. I based my viewpoint on their season as a whole. While FSU is still very good, they are far from being as good as last season, which is understandable with all the talent they lost. But FSU has struggled in several games this season that surprised me. As I said, FSU should win the game against ND, but ND is very good too and I expect a close game.
