Meet the Trojans
The annual “Meet the Trojans” event will be Thursday, Nov. 6 at the Jack Stephens Center. We’d love to see a great turnout this year! They will introduce the teams, have a 3-point contest and will have a short intrasquad scrimmage. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the event will start at 5:30.

You can read Coach Shields latest Blog post at http://www.steveshields.com/latest.html

Also remember tonight’s UALR/ASU Volleyball game at 7pm at the Jack. ASU is 6-1 and UALR is in first place with an 8-0 record. Parking is FREE and the game is only $5.

RE: Meet the Trojans
If I lived locally I would, but last year we drove 5 hrs round trip to listen to a bad PA setup and watch players miss dunks.

Thankfully it does not sound like the same "entertainment" as last year. According to Shields post three point contest & scrimage.

I had rather see those, but even the dunk contest would have been ok if they had attempted makeable dunks.

Pappy, I'd rather you save the gas money and show up for some games to help root the team on. Although, the opportunity to meet some of our players, one and one, is a nice benefit of being a UALR fan.
