RE: When did you become...
Grew up in Savannah hearing about the legend that was Adrian Peterson. Freshman year was 05, and have been hooked ever since. Must be something in that magical water. I now live in Statesboro and wouldn't want it any other way. That Texas State game still stings. I was so young and innocent before that game. I was positive we were going to win it all. After all we were Georgia Southern. Next thing I know the rug was pulled and the program went down quickly. Thanks alot Texas State.

RE: When did you become...
I was the first one in my family to go to college. Took my freshman year at OSU, sophomore year at Armstrong State in Savannah then finished my last two years at GS. Graduated in 1981, the year before football. I was always a Buckeye fan and still am, though I am a bigger GS fan. I did go to grad school at GSU but never got into Panther sports.

You mean 'HBCU' school? No, it is not. The school you are referring to is Savannah State University. Armstrong is a small college that felt like high school. I hated the place, having transferred from OSU, but stayed to keep my out-of-state tuition fees down since I was paying for my own school expenses.
