Like many of us have said, it really does a great job at highlighting the track around the field!

Number nine out of 125? 03-cloud9

Actually if they were speaking solely of the playing field it would be #1, Boise #2 and everyone else tied for #3. 03-lmfao

I'll give the writer serious consideration once he figures out the difference between affect and effect.

Seems like this article was just written as an excuse to talk about Boise State's field.

It might be one of those articles one writes when there is nothing better to write about.

That said, Boise and EMU have something 'different' and 'different things' can be a portend of things to come OR the plaid suits of the 70s (no I won't use a photo as my next avatar. 03-lmfao).

The more and more I look at photos of the EMU stadium, if one could remove the track (use your imagination here) the field looks awesome (in other words, put that gray turf in say InfoCision stadium and it would be among the most attractive fields/stadiums in the country).

And, of course, EMU is basking in the sunlight on gray turf, "the Factory", Reggie Bell, etc. which is incredible.

The PR value is 'priceless.'

I was thinking the same thing.

Why do they show pictures with all the other stadiums with people in them and Rynerson empty? 03-lmfao

RE: Best Fields in college football.
I can see EMU getting the #9 field (not stadium, atmosphere, etc) -- whereas Boise gets #1.

EMU's field *is unique*, just as Boise's is. EMU's field + uniforms is really weird to the eye. Gives a Huge home-field advantage (see Buffalo game).

I'm glad WMU plays EMU in Kzoo this year!

No way should they let Boise wear blue uniforms when they play at home...personally, I find that field color to be irritating to watch on TV.

I get it: Reggie "The Gray Blur" Bell Jr. Now you see him. Now you don't.

Ole Miss couldn't get away with a field that color.

No more knocks on EMU's attendance. That privilege belongs to Akron now.

Comon we had nearly 12k at the last game, scored 34 points in one half, and are undefeated at "The Factory".
