Week 7 Power Rankings
Even though we have a game Tuesday, I think that technically counts as a week 8 game. Surprised this thread hasn't already been made.

1a. Ark State. Impressive showing on all sides of the ball this weekend.
1b. Ga Southern. Another day in the office for our rushing attack, and defense is doing what it needs to do.
3. USA - seems like things are finally starting to come together for them
4. ULM - that win over wake keeping them maybe a spot or 2 higher than they probably should be
5a. TXST. We will find out who gets the 5 spot Tuesday
5b. ULL. See above
7. Troy- big win for the team. Will be interesting to see how this flows into next week.
8. NMSU- tough loss but the potential is there for these guys
9. Ga State - be thankful Idaho and App are stinking it up
10. App - be thankful Idaho hasn't won 1 game yet
11. Idaho - yes, you da ho.

Everyone else.

I see some potential controversy coming as Georgia Southern wont face stAte. Which is a shame.

I've said it before though, and I think it was proven again this weekend.
The Red Wolves are clearly the best team in the conference and I'm not sure how anyone could argue otherwise.

1. GSU - 4-0 in conference. 28-6 win at USA best win of any team in conference.
2. Ark St - Best out of conference win over Utah St.
3. USA
4. ULM
5. TXST
6. ULL - lucky to get a home win over GaSt. What is going on in Lafayette?
7. Troy
8. NMSU
9. Idaho
10. App St
11. GaSt - Already looking forward the best part of the season....the offseason.

Texas State is someone to watch as we go. Bobcats three remaining home games? UL-Lafayette, Georgia Southern, Arkansas State.

Downside for the Bobcats is they miss App State and Troy, two of the bottom 4 teams in the league.

Breida and Ellison are the two best offensive players in the conference so I'll point to them as an argument otherwise. Right now Ga Southern has the #1 rushing attack in the country and it is not even close.

It wasn't a shot against you guys. you've been playing well... however, stAte beat a very good 4-2 Utah State team that has a win over a ranked BYU.

Georgia Southern's best win was against USA... and I believe the jury is still out on how good South Alabama really is.

Again, not a shot. GS is my #2

Using your logic, Ark State is better than Marshall because Ark State's win over Utah St is better than any of Marshall's.

McKissic, Knighten, Griswald,

And I haven't even named a single defensive player yet...and those would be the ones who would shut down your running game.

Of course, such a game would be out to show Willie Fritz why he got turned down for the AState job 3 straight years.
