Was wonderful. I got home to Houston, and yes it was warm. But it was awesome to see my team winning. This team is fun to watch!

There were 4,000 tailgating on campus. Nice setup.

Someone is going to get that SMU program going. Too much history and tradition (even if it's not all good) to be what it is now.

Security was very tight at the game. So tight that me and my buddy snuck on the field.

Great little stadium though. It was a shame that their fans didn't turn out. Probably an awesome environment when close to full.

We tailgated from the roof of their parking garage. Fun except for the old SMU fans giving us side eyes for bumping Triple 6 and Rick Ross. Almost everyone we met at the game was awesome though.

My wife is an Ole Miss multi-grad. She always meets someone else from Ole Miss. After I had annoyed the couple in front of me with my cheering on the Tigers my wife and the lady in front of us started a conversation. Turned out this lady who was rooting for SMU also graduated from Ole Miss and their three kids all went there. Seems her hubby graduated SMU during the Pony Express era. She said they come to tail gate and this year have been leaving at half time.

We were greeted by quite a few pre-game tailgaters but when we left the game almost every tent was empty. Great place for pre-game and a great stadium, sad situation.
