Total defense - 125 out of 125 - 7.05 yds per play, 573.6 yds per game (California 121, UNLV, SMU, Bowling Green)

Rushing defense - 121 out of 125 - 271.2 yds per game (Texas Tech 119, Illinois 120, Idaho 122, UNLV, New Mexico, New Mexico St.)

Passing yards allowed - 118 out of 125 302.4 yds per game (California 125 at 402 yds per game)

3rd down conversion pct defense - 123 out of 125 ,( just behind NC St, Toledo 125 out of 125)

Kickoff returns - 81 out of 125 - 20 yds avg

Net punting 106 out of 125 - 34.55


Note that California is also very bad - as I said last week it seems some of UC's defensive woes are a carryover from the previous DC?
