Here I thought we would have to re-name this the LA Ramsby Award now that he's finding his groove, but as a former (terrible) d-lineman, I will probably go with the young Troy DE. I can hear an announcer after he gets a sack on an obvious passing down: "they didn't just bring the house....they brought the Stadium!"

So it look like there are nominations this week for:

stAte Fr. DE Ja'Von Jones - 2 sacks and a forced fumble in blowout win vs. GaState
and is this different? J Rolland Jones DE stAte- 2 sacks, 3 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 2 TFL's
have the feeling it is the same guy.
Alfred Ramsby had 137 AP yards (98 rushing on 16 carries and 39 receiving on 2 receptions) and a touchdown
TROY- rFR Jamal Stadium DE: 10 tackles 2 sacks 1 FF 2FR
Taylor Lamb App State. Set new school record for total offense (419) and passing yards (397) by freshman. 20 - 31 - 3 TD's - 2 Int's

Same guy.

Looks like his name is Ja'von Rolland-Jones.

I think I've still got to go with Stadium though.

Our players have a rather amusing habit of developing an extra last name mid season. Usually they add their mother's maiden name to it at some point.

RE: VOTE for our Week # 7 - Sun Belt Freshman of the Week- VOTE
I thought about a homer vote for Taylor Lamb. He had a record setting game for us, but the 2 int and the lousy L kept me from doing so.
Especially since I have never voted for him, kind of feel bad about that.
LA Ramsby will be the type of NFL player they thrive on. Good, not always great, but very consistent, very.
Hard to vote for a defensive player a lot of times because they don't have the extra things that put them above the
rest. Seems we have one from Troy this week though, so had to take advantage of that.
