fsu's defense is not top notch this year. Louisville is really good and opportunistic

It sure isn't earning the league any respect but there are some good defenses in the league this year as you mentioned.

The last touchdown given up by Louisville's defense was five minutes into the 3rd quarter against Virginia back on September 13th. That is 17 quarters ago.

Va Tech is building another great defense, though there have been some growing pains this year.

I think it is hard to argue against Carolina having the best defense in the league……I mean consistent=good……right?

Pittsburgh, Clemson, Louisville, Miami and Virginia Tech are all replacing QB that are currently basically in the NFL.

I was hoping to see Logan Thomas today play for the Arizona Cardinals. No such luck.

Clemson has a really good D.....

Honestly, I think the Texas defense is turning into the best D I've seen....they bullied Oklahoma

TCU has a really good D too....the Mississippi schools have good Defenses

The teams in bold aren't in the Top 5 in total defense in the conference at this point, and are actually middle of the pack.

I read today that the last time a team held the opponents' offense at least 17 quarters without a TD was 2005 Alabama.

Alabama's official record for 2005 is 0-2, so I think that it's an appropriate choice for a comparison to Louisville.
