Law schools have been struggling for the past few years with low enrollment numbers as there are just not enough law jobs for the number of new lawyers that graduate each year.
I'm still very, very surprised that WMU pulled the trigger on the Cooley deal. Even though they rank themselves as the 2nd best law school in the nation, they are pretty well thought of as the University of Phoenix of law schools. I'm hoping that they will eventually consolidate the branch campuses, move the law school to Kalamazoo, and dump the Cooley name.
