BigTen Rankings -week 7
1. MSU
MSU still keeps the top spot, but MSU has got to work on finishing in the 4Q.

2. OSU
OSU had momentum before the bye, need to keep it going.

3. Neb
only loss is to MSU. Lets see how they bounce back.

4. Minn
2-0 in BigTen west. Finding some balance on offense.

5. Iowa
2-0 in BigTen West. Still not clear what is going on with 2 QB system. Real test comes next at Md and then murderer's row comes in Nov.

6. Nw
Very close to being undefeated in BigTen.

7. Wisc
Has an unstoppable running game with Melvin Gordon, but rest of team is, eh.

8. Md
Has a bad loss to OSU, but otherwise looks good.

9. Indy
Odd team where memory is fading from Mizzou upset with 0-2 BigTen start. Tevin Coleman is amazing with 8 ypc average. Winn is good too, but defense does not exist. Better hope Sufeld is not hurt bad because his backup looked clueless.

10. Rut
Rock Paper Scissors. PSU beat Rut. Rut beat Mich. Mich beat PSU. All close games.

11. Mich
Not much difference between #10-12

12. PSU
PSU beat Rut and UCF early, but has been exposed the last 2 games.

13. Pur
Looked decent against MSU. Probably will be a spoiler in the west.

14. ILL
Lost again. ILL may be here a while.

OSU - Better than MSU, in my opinion, but I think MSU will beat them at home.
MSU
Nebraska - Best in the west, but will have a tough time winning the division going through Madison
Wisconsin
Iowa
Maryland
Minnesota
NW
Indiana
Michigan
PSU
RU
Purdue
Illinois

RE: BigTen Rankings -week 7
1. Michigan State-Very tentatively holding onto this spot after this week, but the win vs. Nebraska last week is also still fresh and they will probably be favored over Ohio State.
2. Ohio State-Virginia Tech loss doesn't look any prettier, but the Buckeyes have looked much better since (with plenty of flaws).
3. Nebraska: This might well be too high (#3-7 are almost even as far as I'm concerned), but the west is wide open and I give the Cornhuskers a slight edge. Next week vs. Northwestern will say a lot.
4. Minnesota: Good win vs. Northwestern today and the TCU loss looks more excusable than ever.
5. Iowa: Looked good vs. an Indiana team they were only slightly favored over.
6. Northwestern: Wins vs. Wisconsin and Penn State definitely give this team a different feel than the early losses did.
7. Wisconsin: This is probably a little low, but I really think #3-7 are about even and I've got to put the Badgers below the Wildcats for now.
8. Maryland: Played close with West Virginia and beat Indiana and Syracuse on the road.
9. Rutgers: I'd take them if they played Penn State again. Michigan victory is just enough to put them here.
10. Michigan: Team might well fall off entirely, but they have talent and are playing hard.
11. Penn State: Sanctions are killing the team, but it's likely the low point this year.
12. Indiana: The Missouri game feels like a fluke to me. Could certainly still go bowling though.
13. Purdue: I think the Boilermakers will end up higher than this. They played Michigan State tough and are far better than last year.
14. Illinois: Bottom of the list, but I don't think they are guaranteed to stay here.
