RE: DJ update
Too bad they traded Noel. Could you imagine the shotblocking from a frontline of DJ at the 3, Noel at the 4, and Davis at the 5?

RE: DJ update
DJ would make someone a great bench/role/team player. I'm hoping he can take advantage of this opportunity.

RE: DJ update
I really hope he makes the team. I will be the first person in New Orleans with his jersey if he makes it. Its a long shot for him to make it, but they do need a defensive minded SF. His athelitic ability might get him in the door on that front. On another Tiger note, the Pelicans have made Tyreke the starting SF. I know he is outta position there, but he will at least have a quickness advantage on offense.

RE: DJ update
Even though DJ would not be an impact player for the Grizzlies, I wish the Grizzlies would hire him. DJ would create a big fan following here from the Tigers fan base. And, by doing so, the attendance would go up. And, DJ could possibly create an inspiration for the other players.
But, anyway, I hope DJ makes it with the Pelicans.

RE: DJ update
DJ is a guy that teams need to think outside the box with ... he's not going to be a guy that lights it up offensively, but in spurts, he could really add value. I refuse to believe that he couldn't be the 12th guy on a team. There are so many guys that are on the end of benches that never see the floor, and have little ability to alter a game. DJ has that ability, his athleticism, even by NBA standards is off the charts.
Even if he only got in for 4 minutes a game, I think it could really be a positive for a team. Kinda like a smaller, shiftier running back in football ... not a guy who can handle 20 carries, but a guy who can change the game with speed, quickness, and athleticism in short spurts.

The 12th man seldom plays but when they do they should contribute something to the team. There is little risk signing DJ for the minimum. He is entertaining and will be fan favorite. I hope a GM gives him an opportunity.

Don't see someone who hasn't played a minute in the preseason making a roster.

RE: DJ update
DJ scored another basket last night. The point remains true, tho, that he's a longshot. Stranger things have happened in the NBA, tho.
