We have a lot of QB and O-line problems to fix yet. Now you see why Strong wanted to leave so fast! 07-coffee3

Looking forward to many more nail biters with the cards. Losing Watson is huge. They are a very different team without him, probably the difference between 10-2 and 7-5.

He could have stayed and made the $5 million. I think he wanted out while the getting was good, knowing he would not win big this year in a new conference, without TB, with his type of game. If we had started losing games and having a mediocre record, the offers would not be coming in. Last year was his best chance for getting "a better, bigger job" in his list of who's who. He never felt UL was big enough for him once he became a HC -- thus his looking around every dang year.

I have a feeling this game and the comments from Petrino earlier this week about the noise level will make the Louisville-Clemson Football game into a very good and healthy rivalry...04-cheers

True but the $5 Million and the utter size of Texas didn't hurt. Long term under Petrino we will be fine...but this loss stings...

Good Win Clemson. Hope Watson will be ok. We had a chance to win but for some reason Gremlins appeared at the worst time throughout the game. Thats the breaks though and We accept the loss.

Congrats to Clemson. This one came down to the final seconds but the Tigers made the play at the end when needed to get the win.

Didn't he turn down a Tennessee offer to come back last year?

Yes...Tennessee offered $3.5 Million but didn't have a Teddy Bridgewater on its roster.

Ugly, ugly win, but a win it is.

Since 1978 we are 24-2 against teams making their first appearance in Death Valley.

Watson is having screws put in his hand and will be out several weeks.

Amen! I love the new Atlantic division with FSU, Clemson and Louisville. The much discussed GT for Louisville swap needs to die. We finally have a good football division. Let's leave it be. I could get on board with GT for Syracuse, tho. No offense to Syracuse, of course.

From this Division...if our schools handle our OOC Games/In State OOC SEC Rivals...we win our Division and the ACC Title Game very very good chance/Shot at getting into the CFP Playoff...
