24,000 plus is actually a bit over capacity, and yes we are happy about that. the bad thing is we have two November mid-week games which I like but which don't do much for attendance. so we have to make hay while the sun shines and get our big crowds early in the season. this week will be our last chance to do that with a Saturday afternoon game against Akron.

in the grand scheme of things, nationally nobody cares about the difference between 15,000 and 25,000. Either way it is a relatively low attended game. As far as gameday experience, yes that is a huge difference and is awesome to get into the 20k's

Correct. So, people can stop obsessing over EMU attendance. In fact, people should stop obsessing over attendance completely.

Whoa sorry I rustled your jimmies.

eCK: Exactly! That's why the attendance smack on the C-USA board is so amusing...they love to take each other to task for a crowed of 15K vs. 23K. Who cares???

Sorry pal. I was curious because I hadn't seen it discussed. My interests of EMU football attendance is slightly below the Textile Industry in Indonesia.

For every single game ticket purchased (Homecoming game), Kent State Athletics will donate a general admission ticket to local military veterans for the Golden Flashes' game against Toledo on Nov. 4. The tickets are Kent State's way of thanking all of those who have helped sustain this country's freedom (and to boost our attendance).

They will likely be disguised as empty seats.

Watch the Election Returns and a little MACtion
