Nobody gives a **** about Liberty as far as FBS goes. Not yesterday and not today..

We would beat the hell out of Liberty. App State was only good when they had Edwards.

This is highly untrue. They won one ship without Edwards and they continued to be good for another three seasons after he left. Jerry Moore had built a program that was a consistent winner for two decades with them. You can trace their malaise to his dismissal in my opinion.

I hate App as a rival, but really wish them the best in their transition to FBS...right now it looks like it may be a struggle for a few years.

Yep, Mickey is missing two championship rings. One from 2007 and the other from 2008.

Regarding App State, I think UNH and of course Villanova could beat them out of the CAA this season.

Those schools would beat most of the Sun Belt consistently this season....The Belt is just having a terrible time. Ironically, Georgia Southern looks to be the favorite at this point. They got some ballers on that team.

Doubt this. Liberty still owes JMU a trip to Harrisonburg (last rumor I heard was that as put on hold indefinitely). It isn't on JMU's schedule, but two games against the FCS dregs are (CCSU and Morehead). Considering next year will be back to an 11 game schedule and JMU will probably want to plug in an FBS money game, I doubt we'll meet.

I'm in favor of a continued series though. If we're gonna be FCS for the forseeable future, we may as well play local guys.

If we are going to play FCS football then lets play team(s) that actually care about its football program.

Though not a dynasty, it is very admirable and should be respected by JMU fans. One losing season and two seasons with only one game above .500 out of 24 total. Numerous playoff appearances and three championships, DD, if you don't call that good you cannot be satisfied.

True. I was speaking with members in our athletic department and they mentioned we play Montana to open our home schedule and JMU at homecoming. Maybe he was mistaken and we play you on yours? Not sure though. We'll know more moving forward. Really want these games to continue.
