Come off your horse and enjoy the wins. Re-read the thread most of the discussion was tongue in cheek, speculation, and opinion like Cat Mom alluded to.

This was a ODU fans attempt to start another inner App fan flame war after watching his team get ran out of the stadium twice. You are taking the bait, and now I'm on here helping you.

Wow, that's one way to spin it. Another would be that when our guys and coaches were having a tough time and we're down and needing some patience some fans that should know better (you were not alone) showed them none and acted like a bunch of ******. To call it tongue in cheek now is shameless revisionism. It's all there in black and white. Whatever the intent of the ODU fan that brought this back up, I was merely making a point to all fans of all teams how foolish you can make yourself look if you're not careful. Plus, I'm as human as you are and far less than perfect and sometimes I just can't resist a good "I told you so."

I ate my crow years ago, but thanks for the I told yous Bubba. No spin necessary. Certain aspects were tongue in cheek, we all knew he was going nowhere due to money alone.
