Tiger leaping out of the M is still the best design.

Bottom Line. The Tiger is bigger than any artistic rendering we can manufacture--both in part and in whole.

First of all, we are fortunate to have a 'real' mascot. The Tiger is ferocious, astoundingly beautiful and has a history of its own.

"According to the Shaolin Grandmasters, the style is the single most external style in the Shaolin canon; the longer the stylist practices, however, the more she or he comes to rely solely on internal power." Internal Power--our coach is an example of one who has internal power. :)

And so the goal in games is to 'remind' our opponents of the Tiger in all ways even when we are not on the field. To stylistically put the head on our helmets is to link to images that are formed in nature.

Perhaps at some unknown time in an unknown way, our opponents might look to the sky and see the Tiger...just it's head and ferocious teeth... and other memories are triggered that link to us. Thus a seed of weakness gets planted.

Go Tigers.
Prepare to rip some Mustang meat.

Ahhh Grasshopper.So you learn.
Now you must know: To link the head to the body is to show the true power of proper assembly. To show the head and body as one, leaping through the M, is to show the power given to the beast by it's true origin.
Tell me Grasshopper, using a blob, could you tell a Memphis Tiger from an LSU Tiger?
In the marketing game, there is little power greater than recognition at a glance; in a virtual millisecond.

Those of you that insist on the blob, here's some advice: Buy a school color sweatshirt and a blob transfer. Make that transfer!
Enjoy!

lol +++ In truth, the spirit of the Tiger needs no physical representation. The difference in how we perform would be the mark of our tuning into the Tiger Energy.

Insistence in either (or any) direction is weakening. lol Blob/no blob/Neutral.

Good idea...We could have the tail of the Bengal Tiger start at the top of the helmet and extend down the back to be extended on the spine of the jersey.

All that really matters is that we fight like tigers.
