Goals for 2014-15
Requiting class - replace pg, sg, center (don’t have to be all world due to what is coming back and the fact we need to win this year). - FAILED!

2. Good Schedule - Honestly, the schedule is as good as we could hope for. Lots of low/mid-majors and one top 50 school. MAY GOAL HERE IS TO BE OVER ..650 IN OCC games - FAIL

3.Be in all games. NO 30 POINT BLOW OUTS

4. Win the SBC regular season -FAILED

5. Make the championship game - FAILED (I DON'T NEED TO WAIT)

6. Post season of any form - FAILED (I DID NOT KNOW I WOULD BE TALKING ABOUT MAKING THE SBC TOURNAMENT)

Tough goals, but with a really good year we might do it. A couple of the players that we think could be really are going to have to be really good.

Rivals 2-star guard already committed. Good start.

Doable and reasonable. We have to if we are going to have a good year.

3.Be in all games. NO 30 POINT BLOW OUTS

Absolutely!

4. Win the SBC regular season

Good goal, but at this point it looks like a stretch.

5. Make the championship game

Ought to.

6. Post season of any form

If admn will spend money, we ought to get an invite to one of the lowers.

That could be the biggest plus of chris moving on. The new guy has to do something for excitement. Buying into one of the tournaments is the way to go.

I have always been against buying our way into a tournament, but when I hear Katy Perry is expected to pay to sing at the Super Bowl, I guess it might be o.k. I have heard she says she is not going to pay the NFL to sing, so we'll see. What a crazy, upside down world this is getting to be!03-banghead

At this point beggars can't be choosers (if we can afford even to beg).

You have to just start laughing at some point.

For anyone thinking there will be another year of this think again. No way can the program take another year of this.

Its just sad........

We all like Steve but even he has to think about stepping down and moving on.

Interesting to follow the progression of posts here. First we're looking to win the league championship, and by the end we're talking about our sad plight. I think most of us had high hopes for this team, but it didn't pan out. I'm beginning to understand how Chicago Cubs fans must feel. Same old &%#$ year after year. Hopefully next year will at least be different, even if we lose.
