Really? Name them.
When you excuse horrid behavior because you've seen it before, guess what. You get more horrid behavior. This isn't your 12 year old stealing a kids lunch money, it's a grown man making a choice to steal a purse, and use an old ladies credit card. The difference is, the 12 year old actually gets a consequence.
And I love the excusemongers who say, well he didn't spend that much on her credit cards. No Chit. Probably, because the name on the credit card was Doris and he's a guy. That kind of limits your spending opportunities.
Seriously, it's mind boggling that a convicted felon just beat your azz and you are falling all over yourself to defend him.

It's exactly the same as a felony. If he gets probation, but violates the terms it goes on his record as a felony. It's the Michigan legislatures way of giving a first time felon a chance at getting a job some day.
I don't know if you've ever hired anyone, but if a person has to check the box labeled, "Have you ever committed a felony," well, they pretty much have no chance of getting an interview.
To be honest, I don't think it's a bad law. I think a first time felon, with a potential future deserves a break down the road. I just don't think he deserves to be reinstated to a DI football program THE DAY AFTER HIS CONVICTION, AND TWO WEEKS BEFORE HE IS SENTENCES. The lesson learned for this MAN (and no, he's not a kid, and no he didn't make a mistake, he made a choice to steal) is that you can do bad things and be immediately forgiven if you can bring something else to the table.
In retrospect, that's the world we live in. Plenty of high profile chit human beings being glorified simply because they can turn a dollar for others.
you show me one legitimate document that says Rawls was convicted of a felony and I will sign over the deed to my house to you. Troll.

BUT BUT BUT it's pretty much the same thing! And the result of a football game should shape our opinion on the matter!
