Garbage article. That writer never tells both sides and leaves out anything going against his slanted garbage. Fsu official statement says it all. There have been a ton of hack stories with a ton of slant and misinformation

The players that have been kicked off? I'm surprised so many of you are up in arms over this. The evidence suggests no rape occurred. And without that stigma clouding all your opinions, this is much less newsworthy since bb guns and motorcycles go on at every college.

But I get it. Fsu is a huge name and attracts a ton of readership. And obviously we all love to have someone to hate.

Aaron Hernandez says hi. You know, the guy who started shooting people (and eventually murdering them) while in school at uf and was identified as a suspect in said shooting and never even pursued as a suspect. Nice moral high ground uf douch.e 05-nono

What evidence is there that tells us that no rape occurred? We have a complaint that a rape occurred. There was bruising. There was semen in the woman's underwear. That may or may not be enough to get a conviction but it's not like there's some evidence that Winston was in another state at the time of the alleged rape. The point of the article was that the investigation of the alleged rape was somewhere between half-hearted and non-existent. Does anyone dispute this?

I didn't say that's what happened with Winston. I asked if you'd ever received anything for free. You standing on your jump to conclusions mat?

Well, FSU will be under siege by the National media soon enough. You cannot explain crook cops away that want FSU to win at all costs! That is the way the National media is seeing it. FSU is currently being viewed in the same bad light as the NFL is. Just sayin'. 03-phew

How a Duke fan can be so against FSU in this and how the ACC fans don't see the parallels is amazing to me. The media latches onto anything they can spin negatively to create a stories . The NY Times is a rag paper that is famous for this .I 'll wait for a real source.

And as Marge mentioned, if you read this article, you think no player has been kicked out or arrested at FSU EVER.

-Greg Dent was like 6 months ago. Why isnt that in there?
-Why are all the things against the girl not mentioned? How she tried to get money from Winston to go away. How she was part of a conquest group trying to sleep with famous athletes.

-How Darby/Casher were already cleared of any wrongdoing and if they were cleared then how wouldnt Winston be cleared? Because if they witnessed a rape and did nothing, they wouldnt be cleared....

To be fair "preferential treatment" happens in EVERY college town from Columbus to Tuscaloosa, with police and looking the other way.07-coffee3

It's just that Winston has been a lighting rod of attention/controversy since winning it all in spite of the alleged "rape" case going on last year.

So I'm assuming you have gotten free things and just don't want to admit you're a criminal. Since you keep refusing to answer.

03-phew It does not make him . you or me a criminal. It does make you in violation of the NCAA's regulation, however., which is a whole different issue from the OP.
