And tonight so far, its HR #20 (looked alot like #19, including the review) to go along with a 2B and single.

Last 10 games AR is hitting .410. He hit his 38th double today (leading the Nats). On track for 20+ HR and 40+ 2B.

He also leads the Nats in runs scored (108) and OPS (.829).

Good for him, cause the Nats are going to the playoffs. If the season ended today they would play the WC winner.

RE: More love for Mr Rendon
On the Mets network today Keith Hernandez raved about Anthony. He said Ant would be a batting champ someday, loved his swing and said he hit nothing but line drives, right before Ant lined a double into the left field corner. He was 10-15 in the first three games of the Met series but only had one hit today. Anthony also got his 64th extra base hit of the season today putting him 7th in the majors in that category ahead of such sluggers as Albert Pujols and David Ortiz.

This impressive ESPN analysis of AR's defensive prowess -- "Don't Bunt on Anthony Rendon" -- appeared in today's Rice Update (Alan Shelby's hat tip to Ben Jedlovec).

I suspect that even Brian "the biggest question mark with Rendon is his defense" Foley is in Ant's camp now.

Wow, that article is pretty impressive, if anything, for the fact that some of those statistics are even kept.

Defensive metrics have made huge strides in the last few years.

I'm not even necessarily talking about metrics. They are now recording the number of bare hand grabs per game.

Watched a bit of the Nats-Braves last night even though they rested pretty much all of their starters. While AR did not appear in the game, the announcers could not help but comment on "Anthony Redon, Superstar."

The love for Rendon is coming from more than just the Fourth Estate:
