Really excited for the "official" start of the season tonight

Big series out of the gate, as all non-conference games are critial for the teams in the NCHC, as they eat thier own during conference play

Hope my experience with America One is better than last years during the Alaska tournament

UMD lost to Minnesota 4-3 today. Would have been a great win for the conference.

yep, I watched the game. some soft goals by UMD freshman tender, doesn't help when you give up a goal :30 seconds in and his first college hockey SOG. Kaz is going to be very, very good in the next couple of years.

I thought UMD came on strong mid way through the second and dominated in the third. UMD out played the Gophs, but they just dug too big of a hole and ran out of time.

Everyone is so hyped about Miami's forwards, but like the UMD forward's even more.

1-0 at the end of one... outshot 7-4, 3 penalties and an own goal.... not a great start to the season. Hopefully they got that out of their system

3rd penalty. As usual.
