NOT TO LOOK AHEAD BUT*
In the grand scheme of things no MT fan should ever look ahead. After all, the Stockstill MANTRA prohibits our team or fans to ever even peek beyond the next game! But BYU just lost to UCF in OT. MT needed a ranked and overly confident BYU to roll into Murfreesboro in November, so we could take their legs out! So much for a SURPRISE ATTACK!

Taysom Hill being hurt really hurts BYU. They go from averaging 38 points a game against solid defenses to only averaging a little over 20 points the last 2 games due to the QB injury. They'll likely be 4-4 or possibly 3-5 in their last 8 games with no Taysom Hill.

Hill was a sensational QB but I was also impressed with the back-up for BYU. I think he threw 3 TDs on UCF, and the MT Pass Defense is suspect! By way of example let's see what CATO does tomorrow morning against the Raiders. Could be a long day.

I wasn't impressed with BYU's backup last night. Granted, I didn't see much of the game at all, but he completed 22 of 37 passes for 153 yards.

You do realize that was their second loss, right?

Byu's problem is the same as Ootsa's. They lack a real qb. I still hope Ootsa can give fiu a good game,as a matter of fact they're favorites, right? It'll be interesting to say the least.

Hey Ootsa fans, my wife and I will heading out to El San Anto for our game. I hope we can give you a good one. I still think you have a good team but I hope we upset.

USU did beat them, you're correct. Even so they weren't completely knocked out of the "top twenty-five" talk.

Maybe MT can learn a thing or two from the Herd, and apply it to the rest of our games - especially BYU!!

Best of luck to Marshall the rest of the year. I will be cheering for you.
