Most of their big games are in September against P5 opponents when are able to book OOC games. But once October arrives, the Cougars have to play G5 teams like UCF, Middle Tennessee, and Utah State. I think their next to last game is versus a FBS team.

I bet Bowen could get a H&H with BYU with a phone call, maybe do basketball too if they agree to a four game series.

I would be all for that series.

me too

Gr8 points, Aresco already has his hook baited 7 pole in the water for this one 03-cloud9
As I understand it, we probably will be playing BYU before too long. They have an agreement with the AAC to play 4 of our schools each season (as well as being the opponent in the Miami Beach Bowl under certain conditions). I assume we would be in the rotation.

This is a maybe a non-sequitur.

Is there a conference that would allow BYU their Sundays off?

I think we're safe here, as BYU involvement would more than likely be Football only.....The other sports are actually in a fairly good situation.....they just need more exposure for their TV deal for Football......Our relationship is kinda in a "let's test this and see mode"....But i really think we have a tremendous advantage...as we are the only act on Thursdays, which is Huge for their deal......And especially after that epic game v UCF......Could possibly start a rival and be a rematch in the Miami Beach Bowl Epic..... 07-coffee3
