Your favorite people on CSNBBS....
Who are your favorite people that posts on CSNBBS and why?

My favorite(s)?

#1...OldTiger. Just like to read his posts. He's always got a good thing to say. God bless you old tiger.

#2...MinerinWisconsin. Just seams like a level headed person. Liked his insight during the expansion phase we went through.

I might add another one or two as I think of them.

Probably Toppersontop. He always seemed to bring a level headed calm argument to any discussion.

Hard to tell, but my list of least favorite people is a very short list. [Hint: ex-CUSA]

Old Tiger is the best. Always the voice of reason. Passionate fan but understands it's just a game.

MUHERD76 and MTtim, you guys are way, way too kind, but thank you.

I love college athletics and the interaction between fans. In the end, athletics and interacting with fans of other programs are for fun and entertainment. During those moments of frustration, I just usually respond with a bit of humor to take the edge off frustration.

I still love coming over here, I've got a lot of old friends here that I miss interacting with. This is a fun conference and board full of good fans. As long as y'all will have me, I'll keep coming back.

I already miss him trying to tell that Julian Washburn is a below-average defender.

"Hey, Akeem Richmond played 38 minutes, went 2-2 from three and scored 6 points!! That's a 150% effective field goal percentage. 3 points per shot. Those are history-making numbers. Washburn's reputation is just a concoction of the national media and the Illuminati."

RE: Your favorite people on CSNBBS....
New CUSA-
Marshall- LMcKay92 (gotta love the carrot guy, even without rent money)
Rice- RiceDoc (those owls are some smart cats)
UAB- ATTALLABLAZE (hates conference pimping as much as I do)
Southern Miss- ShiftyEagle
UTEP- RandaddyMiner (See ECU PirateTreasureNC below)
UTSA- Deuce (always a good sport. Picks up!)
ODU- ODUoldTimer
Charlotte- 49Rfootballnow
WKU- I get all their names confused. Can't tell them apart
North Texas- See WKU
FIU/FAU- TBD

Old CUSA-
Houston- GeminiShamrock (great poster even in the face of anti-ACK comments)
ECU- PirateTreasureNC (has my same sick sense of humor)
Memphis- Old Tiger (classiest guy ever... Would love to shake his hand one day)
Tulsa- Tallgrass (miss that guy's perspective)
SMU- Justin Sane15

RE: Your favorite people on CSNBBS....
I don't even post much anymore, but thanks for the kudos.
Herd guys-
I love Stick's dry humor.
I love GreenSteve's diligence in finding obscure Herd related articles.
Banker's use of logic to get under people's skin and 24's knowledge of the sport for or against us are valuable assets.
Herdzoned's post count is to be admired, even if every other post is putting someone on ignore or a death and destruction threat, mostly to ECU fans.
MUATO is a straight shooter who will engage the enemy with brutal, yet humorous attacks, while remaining one of the nicest people I've met from the interwebs.
Ed is our voice of reason, who always finds the right perspective.

Others-
I don't know too many from the new schools but
UAB posters--god bless you all. They've had a rough decade. From almost good to really awful. They are still here and being that their seasons, other than spoiler, often have ended early, they know a lot about their conference mates. They have an amazing sense of the bigger picture.

UNT posters--Just gettng to know some of you. However a lot of their presence during the expansion rumors really sort of turned me off to them. I'm sure once we get UNT on our schedule I'll get to know them better.

ODU-- They seem happy to be here and knowledgeable. It'll probably get worse before it gets better with Heinecke ending his 10 year reign at QB, but they seem to take things in stride.

USM--their posters are as endangered as the golden eagles themselves, but we have a couple on loan from the Hattiesburg zoo to view this majestic bird. Shifty and Stinkfist add two completely different perspectives to any thread. Shifty talks football and no one knows what the hell Stink is talking about usually. Efforts are underway to restore this species to it's former glory. One wild member has been spotted many times over Ruston, so it's a sign they will be strong again, one day.

Charlotte--Don't know much about soccer... j/k good bunch of guys who will have more to add once they are actively playing their conference mates. As a sidenote, they may hate ECU more than we do.

UTEP--Till ollibaba's recent terrorist attacks on Huntington, I've never had a bad thing to say about any UTEP fan. That seems to be settled now and I don't hold a grudge. I like all the UTEP fans. If that's so wrong I don't want to be right. I especially like Randaddy, though. He cracks me up.

UTSA--proof that the football gods are real and listening. They can come on strong for a new program but it takes decades of ups and downs to temper fans to not get too excited after a big win or too down after a few losses.

LaTech--Probably the western version of us, with more gnats flying around in Louisiana than we have to contend with. They are like the Ohio of the south with all the FBS schools in a fairly limited space. But that makes their fans rabid if you put them down. THey know how to fight for scraps and they come out with the biggest haul more often than not.

F_U--Again, just getting to know them. They seem like a good bunch. Hard to figure them out week to week much like their teams. One day they'll straight up kick your ass and the next it's wtf just happened. No love for UCF puts me squarely in their corner when not playing us.

Rice--Seems like there used to be a lot more Rice posters. They just came off their best year in CUSA and I thought the bandwagon would have room for a few more geeks. The ones we do have are very well spoken..er written, confident, but not cocky, and add to the discussion rather than detract from it. I figured we would have a surefire predictor out of these guys by now. They should know the score before the game is even scheduled. Seriously, they are that smart.

MTSU--These guys have been there and done that in the East. They've seen a lot throughout the years. Good fans. Good support. They relish a rivalry and will engage the rival in a good natured way. I like them. Threeifbylightning seems to write well thought out posts that I like to read. Most of the rest I really only know from the week they played WKU and the banter back and forth. I like being their roadblock to a championship. Hope it holds out.

WKU--see above. I could have written that twice, but again other than watching you guys rip on the Raiders I don't know you yet. I'm glad you're here. Don't screw up our season.
