It looks like they would wear all black during the ECU game. If you check the bearcats football page. Bearcatsfootball and scroll down on the schedule, it says it is a blackout game.

ECU is probably going to be the only game that UC wears all black. The video basically states that UC won't wear the same combination twice this season. The all black scheme was never my favorite combination and only seeing it once a year is fine with me. I prefer black/red/black (home) and black/white/black (road). Yes it helps that those combinations were worn against Pitt in 2008 and 2009.
It seems to me that if you want to establish your brand and/or identity, you maintain a consistent look.
New helmets, uniforms, etc are cool when it only happens once a year or so (like the red uniforms in basketball). Changing the look for every single game just makes it hard for people to remember UC.
As much as I d not like O$U, when you glance at them on TV you know immediately who they are.

I think as long as we have the Cpaw and the Red and Black colors our identity is pretty well ingrained. I wish we'd go all black at home for every game that is not the Ring of Red or Whiteout games (good promotions...once a year works). I like mixing it up a bit on the road.

Ahh "that guy". Similar to "that guy" that always shows up when someone says Munchie is a bad QB but we are berating a kid, and tearing down his character and throwing insults at someone who dons the C-paw, when in all reality, all we are saying is that he cant throw a ball. Thats it.
Just like now, we are just talking about uni combos, no mention of wins or losses anywhere, just brand recognition. But no, the fact the we discuss how the team looks it means we dont care about wins.
I like all the different uniform combinations they have used this season. As a few others have stated, I would also like to see the all black for most home games.
